Reinvention is certainly a very possible concept. If a person is willing to change there identity they can reinvent themselves. It is not easy though, and requires dedication. Throughout the book The Great Gatsby, Gatsby reinvents himself. Gatsby does this by changing his name, attaining wealth, and throwing lavish parties. Gatsby becomes a mysterious figure that many people are curious about, and don't quite know how to perceive. One example of a person that has reinvented themselves is Walter White (Bryan Cranston) in the series Breaking Bad. At the beginning of the series Walter is an average guy living an average lifestyle. He is a chemistry teacher at J.P. Wynne highschool. As the series goes on Walter gets cancer, and this forces him to change his lifestyle, because the treatment is so expensive. He reinvents himself by working with drug dealers, and cooking crystal meth to support his family financially. He also shaves his head, and goes by the street name Heisenburg. Walter earns a lot of money from his new illegal job, and is able to buy things he wouldn't normally be able to buy. He becomes a completely new person, and this deteriorates the relationship he has with his family leading to serious problems. Walter White proves that reinvention is possible for everyone. Afterall he was a highschool teacher who broke bad.
